First of all, you need to check whether the necessary settings are enabled in the Odoo system. To do this, go to the "Settings" - "Warehouse" module.
Check if there is a check mark next to the "Batch and serial numbers" option:
Go to the product card. After enabling batch accounting, the "Tracking" block will appear in the "Warehouse" section.
In it, we put a checkmark “By unique serial number” or “By batches”:
