How to add a pop-up on an Odoo site?

The pop-up in Odoo Website is used to attract the attention of visitors:

• displaying promotions or discounts,
• subscription offer,
• informing about important updates,
• collecting contact information.

Step 1. Enable site editing mode

1. Go to the 'Website' module:

2. Click the 'Edit' button on the desired page:

Step 2. Add a Pop-up block

1. In the left panel, find the Contact & Forms block. Drag it onto the website page.

2. In the new window, select the pop-up block:

3. The system will open a window template where you can change:

1. • title,
   • message text,
   • an image or button (for example, "Subscribe").

Step 3. Configure pop-up behavior

After inserting the block, click on it to open the settings panel:

• When to show:
• • when the page loads,
  • after a certain time (for example, 5 seconds),
  • when attempting to close the page (exit intent),
  • only once for each visitor.
• Where to show:
• • on all pages,
  • or only on selected ones (for example, on the product page or during checkout).

Please note that the visibility of the pop-up in editing mode is controlled by a separate button (icon in the form of an eye):

Step 4. Save changes

• Click 'Save' in the upper right corner.
• Open the site in visitor mode and check if the pop-up works correctly.
